“As the chairman of Adamjee Foundation, I have been involved in quite a few social welfare initiatives, including education and health. My focus has always been on education for the less privileged, since I believe that education is a universal human right, as has been enshrined in the UN Charter as well. I recently got involved with PEF, and I must say they are doing a tremendous job, in terms of providing the students this opportunity to educate themselves, which leads to increasing dignity and self-esteem, apart from being a liberating experience”.
