PEF in the USA has been raising funds for deserving students of Pakistan for 10 years. Last year, PEF raised funding for approximately 1150 professional scholarships. The donations in the US are tax exempted, and we are approved as a 501 (c) nonprofit organization by the US Internal Revenue Service.

I left Pakistan at the age of 13, but my heart is still there. I want to see my country prosper, and I see that education is the best way to do it. I began to support DIL (Developments in Literacy) in Silicon Valley and later joined the PEF-Silicon Valley Chapter. While DIL educates school going students, PEF ensures that the brilliant students from the under-privileged section of our society can complete their professional education despite their severe financial constraints.
